Qigong helps to 'fuel' you with vitality, energy and power. The fuel you acquire helps you process and heal from trauma. It supports your spirit work, replenishing the energy that intense spirit work consumes.
Increased Qi energy helps you to stay grounded, enabling you to think more clearly and boosting your access to your own creativity. It speeds up sports recovery and helps overcome fatigue.
Regular practice also maintains your frequency and energy potential and will keep you in an abundant frequency band.

There are many characterisations of the energies flowing through the body, and its useful to take a moment to acknowledge we are referring to the energy of consciousness.
In its broader sense, this is the pulsation of the universe itself. It is that aspect of consciousness that is in between the universal field and manifested form. This energy is given the name Ki, Chi, Qi, Prana, Kundalini, and many others.
There are different names usually given to the different functions that consciousness performs in the body. As we understand that different concentrations and vibrations of consciousness produce everything that exists in the universe; we can extrapolate that the frequency bands that produces the body, provide the appropriate type of energies to nourish the various systems of the body.
The primary channels of Yin Yang energy in the body are called the Governor Vessel, and the Conception Vessel. Many of the other Meridians branch off from these Vessels (another word for channel); and some take on Yin energy and others Yang.
In Elemental Warrior, we learn that these energies are represented in the body as Water (Yin) energy traveling up the Governor Vessel and Fire energy (Yang) which moves along the Conception Vessel.
The meridians are like a system of streams, rivers, and oceans. Qi flows through the meridians to the organs and various parts of the body. The movement of blood through our system is the responsibility of Qi.
When our energy system is in optimal flow, the water energy, originating in the Kidneys, rises along the Governor Vessel at the back to cool and clear the head. Fire energy from the heart sinks along the Conception Vessel, at the front, to the lower energy centre - which we call Dan Tien - and warms the lower abdomen. When this flow is achieved, we are in harmony and the body can maintain optimum health.
Releasing Stuck Emotional Energy with Qigong
Qigong practices help to release stuck emotional energy by promoting the free flow of Qi.
Techniques such as gentle movements, focused breathing, and mindful meditation help to clear blockages, allowing Qi to circulate freely and harmonise the body's energy systems.
Deep, diaphragmatic breathing helps to calm the nervous system and release tension. This type of breathing enhances oxygen intake and promotes relaxation, making it easier to process and release emotional energy.
Qigong incorporates slow, deliberate movements that stretch and open the body's meridians. These movements help to release physical and emotional tension, promoting a state of calm and balance. For instance, the "Eight Brocades" is a set of Qigong exercises specifically designed to enhance health and emotional well-being.
Qigong often includes meditation and visualisations that focus on calming the mind and cultivating positive emotions. Visualisation of natural elements, such as imagining the body bathed in healing light, can transform negative emotions into positive energy.
Qigong not only releases stuck emotional energy but also harmonises emotional extremes. This balancing act is crucial for maintaining emotional stability and overall health.
The heart and liver play significant roles in emotional regulation. The heart is associated with joy, and the liver with anger. Qigong practices aimed at harmonising these organs can help to balance emotions. For example, exercises that stimulate the liver can help to release pent-up anger and frustration, while heart-focused practices can enhance feelings of joy and contentment.
The kidneys are associated with fear and resilience. Strengthening kidney energy through Qigong can help to reduce fear and increase confidence. Practices such as "Kidney Breathing" focus on directing breath and Qi to the lower back, enhancing kidney function and emotional stability.
Worry and sadness, linked to the spleen and lungs, can be alleviated through Qigong practices that promote deep breathing and gentle abdominal massages. These techniques help to calm the mind, improve digestion, and enhance respiratory function, thereby reducing worry and sadness.
